2006 Canadian International AutoShow
The Show now encompasses over 850,000 square feet in the North & South Metro Toronto Convention Center and Rogers Centre. Over 1,000 new cars and trucks are on display featuring many Canadian and North American premieres.
It’s a perfect blend of popular favourites and brand new features. Proven attractions such as the Classic Car Collection and Leisure World are enhanced and improved to deliver even more stopping power. Special services – many pioneered by the AutoShow – Such as the Volkswagen Child’s PlayCare Centre, Free Parking and Online Ticketing add to the overall experience.
Of course, the AutoShow never stands still. New feature attractions are a big part of the story, including Sport Compact Revolution, launched in 2003. Here, an entire level of Rogers Centre is dedicated to the fastest growing segment in the industry – the tuner market.
And there’s more to come in 2006, including Cruise Nationals, a sensational feature that will recognize, display and exhibit classic cars and trucks from enthusiasts all across Southern Ontario. To top it off, the Autoshow is proud to continue with the Toyota Truck Test Track, a rugged outdoor terrain, built right in the heart of downtown Toronto. This track is designed with the purpose of allowing you, the Show patron to test drive Toyota’s 2006 line of trucks in an off-road experience.
